I work in a science center, and I am looking for a nice trilobite picture I can use for teaching children about evolution. Is it possible to use this picture, and if so; what are the terms? Beautiful work!!! Best regards, Rim

Hello Rim, thanks!, glad you liked the piece. This was done for a museum, so They hold the rights for use on an exhibit. HOWEVER, you can use it for presentations with credit, if that works, let me know, thanks!

Hello again! (Time runs fast!) We are finally making a small text for students (children) about evolution, can I use this to illustrate trilobites, with credits of course? If so, the text will be part of a science curriculum unit for teachers on this website: www.naturfag.no , which is a website for science teachers in Norway. Is this possible?

Outstanding! It's difficult to imagine them with color, but this is a beautiful interpretation

The texturing is nice! For some reason, trilobites have always been fascinating to me.

I'd always wonder myself, did the "Eyes" in the trilobite shell works? Anyway, nice work.

They work in the same way as living arthropods compound eyes. Lots of individual lenses building up a complete image. Unlike the living arthropods however, each lens is a single crystal of calcite.

Nice paleoart :D
Maybe if the water was a bit more cloudy, though, where the footprints were?
